Our Pastor

Pastor Bio:

The people of New Brockton United Methodist Church want to welcome our new pastor and his family to New Brockton. We have prayed for God to send us the under Shepherd that He would have to lead us. We feel that Pastor Bailey and his famly is the answer to that Prayer. Again, welcome and may God richly bless your time with us here at New Brockton that we all may grow in the Spirit of Christ as his servants.

Dr. Craig B. Bailey has seventeen years of ministry experience serving in various positions such as youth pastor, senior pastor and military chaplain. He is a graduate of Troy University with a bachelors degree in Behavioral Disorders. Additionally, he holds a masters degree and doctorate degree from Alabam State University in Leadership, Policy & Law, He attended seminary at New Orleans Theological Seminary and Luther Rice Seminary graduating with a Master of Divinity degree and is currently completing his Doctor of Ministry degree. He is a published author and professor for Liberty University and adjunct professor for Troy University Dothan. He currently is serving as military chaplain in the Army Reserves graduating from the US Army Chapliain Officer Basic Course and the US Army Chaplains Advanced Course. He and his wife Sheila have been married for fifteen years. They have two children, Brett (7) and Madison (8). They live in Wicksburg and raise English Bulldogs. Pastor Craig enjoys running, weight lifting and playing the guitar! He is a conservative Pastor who loves people, loves the church and loves the Lord!
